Clifford J.W. Curvin

Clifford "Tip" Curvin, age 83, of Douglasville, passed away Saturday, January 09, 2016. An Alabama native, Mr. Curvin served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated B&C Distributing and Printing Company, with his wife, Betty Curvin in Austell. Tip was a member of the Mableton Lions Club, as well as the Masonic Lodge in Taladega, Alabama, and taught Sunday school at Mableton First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Curvin; children, Motacha and husband Joey Blackerby of Munford, Alabama, Vicky Waldrop and husband David Andrews of Villa Rica, and Rita Waldrop and husband Brad Cross of Kennessaw; sister, Dorothy Modica of Anniston, Alabama; brothers, Marvin Curvin of Ohatchee, Alabama, and Ross Curvin of Ohatchee Alabama; as well as seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. The family received friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at White Columns Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Andrews and Reverend Mike Anderson officiating. Interment followd at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens.
