March 26, 1952 - December 18, 2021
Denise Rogers DeBardelaben, our beautiful wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 18th, 2021. She was such a wonderful person, who loved everyone she met, never meeting a stranger, and always sharing the love of Jesus through her words and actions. Denise and Bill were married for 44 years in July and were truly each other’s soul mates. Denise has two children, Brad & Kasi, but also 3 bonus children, Dwayne, Letitia & Cedric. She has 10 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Her husband and family were truly the wind beneath her wings. Denise loved the beach. Her idea of “heaven on earth” was a chair in the sand, feeling the waves gently roll over her feet. She was known to take frequent trips to enjoy the beach every year with her family, her children and her friends. She also has an unmatched love for children; retiring as a Kindergarten teacher after 25 years at both Russell Elementary & Sanders Elementary School. Denise also loved her church; she was an active member of Milford Baptist Church since 1991 and has served in many different roles. She was truly the “hands and feet of Jesus” each and every week, serving tirelessly in the C3 Food Ministry. Lastly, but most importantly, she loved Jesus with every ounce of her being and took each opportunity to share His love with others. Denise is proceeded in death by her parents, Mr. Earnest Rogers and Mrs. Jean Kelley, as well as her brother, Mike Rogers and sister-in-love, Barbara Rogers. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the C3 Ministry at Milford Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 22 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Milford Baptist Church. A chapel service will be held at noon followed by a graveside service at Georgia Memorial Park. White Columns Chapel & Cremations is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Denise DeBardelaben.
