James Michael Taylor, age 59, of Carroll County passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014. James was born to Calvin and Eliza "Pistol" Taylor on August 4, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia. After high school, he had four children: James, Rebecca, Michelle, and Deborah. His family later grew to include many grandchildren: James, Summer, Tyler, Bella, Shai, Mazzy, Sirr, Denai, Drake, and Donovan. James enjoyed fishing and caring for his animals. It always seemed like he had a german shepherd named "Joe" at his side. He was a collector of many things and wasn't scared of anything. These traits suited him perfectly for his job as a repo man. James Michael Taylor is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Eliza Taylor. He is survived by his son, James Michael Taylor, Jr. and his wife Anna of Ellijay; daughters, Rebecca Taylor White of Dunwoody, Michelle Taylor of Lawrenceville, and Deborah Taylor Bragg of Douglasville; sister, Sherri and her husband Tim Coleman of Breman; brother, Eddie Taylor of Austell; and grandchildren, James Michael III, Summer, Tyler, Bella, Shai, Mazzy, Sirr, Denai, Drake, and Donovan. James was cremated under the care of White Columns Chapel. The family held a memorial service 12:00pm Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at McIntosh Reserve Park in Whitesburg, Georgia.
