Janie Kidd

Dorothy “Janie” Kidd age 74, of Lithia Springs passed away September 25, 2017. She is survived by her children, Tracy and Donna Kidd of Lithia Springs, Terrell and Regina Kidd of Cedartown and Tina Agan, and her husband, Michael of Lithia Springs; sister, Martha Riggins and her husband, Harvey of Dallas; brother, Jerry and Gloria Braswell of Douglasville and in-laws, Kathy Braswell of Lithia Springs, GA. and Tony and Riki Kidd of Lawrenceburg, TN; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 35 years, Thomas Kidd; parents, George W. and Mozell Braswell; brother, Rev. Terry Braswell, Sr; and in-laws, Thomas W. Kidd and Cleo Kidd. Janie was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville for over 30 years. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoyed sewing and baking. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 27 from 10:30 am until 12pm. Services will be held at 12pm in White Columns Chapel with Rev. Terry Braswell Jr officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. Darien Southerland, Andy King, Casey Kidd, Brandon Kidd, Billy Shuman and Zack Kidd will serve as pall bearers. Thomas Agan, Presley Kidd and Tyler Kidd will serve as honorary pall bearers. White Columns Chapel & Cremations is honored to serve the family of Dorothy Janie Kidd.
