BiographyDavid Owen Logue, age 80, of Mableton died on May 20, 2013. Born in Wayne County, Lutts, Tennessee, he grew up in Savannah, Hardin County, and then joined the Air Force in 1950 where he served his country for a 4 year term. After completing his military service, he moved to Atlanta where he worked for the Atlanta Fire Department Communications Division for several years. He spent most of his working years with the IBEW # 613 as an industrial electrician. Mr.Logue has served as a past president of the Adams Lodge # 171 F+AM in Mableton, a past secretary of James E Sledge daylight lodge # 742, a conductor of the Cobb County Masonic Memorial Club for several years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Ramona S. Logue, step-daughters; Paulette S. McCartney of Clinton, Missouri, Debbie Banks of Villa Rica, Georgia; nephew; James E. Logue and his son, Alexander S. Logue of Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence Wesley Logue and Bessie Leona Paulk Logue; his siblings: Charles O Logue, Kathleen L. White, Robert W. Logue, and John Maury Logue.
